Want to experience a tour that is forever changing and presents our collection in a new light every day? Our docents (volunteer museum educators) have total creative freedom to choose which artworks they present during a 60-minute tour. “CAM in 60,” formerly known as Highlights of the Collection, is offered Tuesday through Sunday at 1 p.m. and meets in the back left corner of the Front Lobby.
Interested in learning more about a specific piece of artwork, culture, or artistic movement? Let your docent know, and they will include that piece on their tour! Here at the Cincinnati Art Museum, we don’t follow scripted tours; we create tour experiences based on what you are interested in and what works are on display from our fascinating collection.
While we will be moving away from our monthly themes, “CAM in 60” itself will become a new theme that changes daily with the promise of a riveting and engaging tour experience every time. Still missing our themed tours? Not to worry! Check out our Bloomberg Connects mobile resource; you can revisit each and every one of our past themed tours as a self-guide.
We welcome you to join our docents at 1 p.m. on your next visit to CAM!
Interested in becoming a docent at CAM? Visit the docent webpage for more info.
