Art After Dark returns to the Cincinnati Art Museum on Friday, July 30

CINCINNATI— The art-themed Final Friday celebrations are finally back (after being paused for 18 months)! Join the Cincinnati Art Museum for our first in person Art After Dark since February 2020 on Friday, July 30.

Guests will enjoy live music from the Monday Night Big Band in the Alice Bimel Courtyard, live music from DJ ETrayn on the Art Climb, swing dancing with Pones, food for purchase from Dewey’s Pizza and Sweets & Meats BBQ, cash bars and free admission to special exhibition Paintings, Politics and the Monuments Men.

Paintings, Politics and the Monuments Men focuses on the fate of some of the finest European paintings from the Berlin State Museums that traveled to the United States soon after the end of the war. The exhibition is on view through October 3 in the Thomas R. Schiff Galleries (234 and 235).

The timeline for the event includes:

  • 5–8 p.m.: Live music from DJ ETrayn outside on the Art Climb.
  • 5–9 p.m.: Food for purchase from Dewey’s Pizza and Sweets & Meats BBQ. Cash bars available throughout the museum. Attendees must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
  • 5–9 p.m.: Free admission to special exhibition Paintings, Politics and the Monuments Men in Galleries 234 and 235. Registration not required.
  • 6–8 p.m.: Live music from the Monday Night Big Band and swing dancing with Pones in the Alice Bimel Courtyard.
