Art After Dark: Through the Looking Glass showcases Tiffany Glass
CINCINNATI— Don’t be late for this very important date! Venture down the rabbit hole at the Cincinnati Art Museum’s FREE evening event Art After Dark: Through the Looking Glass, on Friday, March 31, from 5–9 p.m.
Through the Looking Glass guests will enter a world of enchantment as they experience a sneak peek of Tiffany Glass: Painting with Color and Light, on view April 1–August 13. Centered on the mesmerizing glass paintings of Louis C. Tiffany, this new exhibition explores the artist’s expression of light and color through rich hues, intricate patterns and incredible texture.
In addition to iconic artworks, Through the Looking Glass features live music from Us, Today, lighted hula hoop performances, specialty cocktails and appetizers for purchase, and an “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired tea party, complete with a Tiffany Glass-themed art-making activity. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
