A tribute to the prescient acts of collector and Cincinnati native Carl M. Jacobs III (1915-2008). Jacobs was passionate about photography at a moment when it wasn’t so fashionable to collect photographs. His interests extended to fine prints and drawings and in combination they demonstrate Jacobs’s eclectic tastes over a half century of collecting. Included are works by William Eggleston, Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin, Picasso, Georges Braque and Henri Matisse among over 50 works.
