One of the best ways to understand our humanity is through art, and one of the most profound transitions for half the human population is menopause. Come join us during Menopause Awareness Month (October) for this first-ever tour dedicated to inquiring, connecting, discussing and becoming inspired by a curated selection of artwork—and expert voices—about women in midlife. Debate questions such as “Does Grant Wood’s Daughters of Revolution mock old age or provide a look we should celebrate to ward off ageism?” and “What is the lesson for midlife women involving search for identity—and casting off roles—in Thomas Gainesborough’s Portrait of Ann Ford?”
If you need accessibility accommodations, please contact us in advance at [email protected] or fill out the accessibility request form.
