CINCINNATI— The world is your runway! Celebrate Thanksgiving Eve at the Cincinnati Art Museum’s final Art After Dark event of the year: Transforming Fashion on Wednesday, November 22, 5–9 p.m.
Start the evening in style with free admission to Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion, featuring couture creations by one of the most revolutionary fashion designers of the twenty-first century. Credited with introducing 3-D printing to fashion, van Herpen seamlessly blends hi-tech processes with traditional handwork, creating imaginative sculptural garments.
Experience surreal performances by Pones, Steve Kemple, DJ Mowgli and Black Signal, combining fashion, music and performance art all in one night! Inspired by the mind-bending wearable art of local artists FOREALISM-TRIBE and Lindsey Whittle, plus Chicago-based artist Grace DuVal, this collaborative show is not to be missed.
