The Great Hall, featuring gorgeous curving staircases and plenty of open space

One of the architectural highlights of the Art Museum, the Great Hall, with its classical detailing, is a dramatic place to hold wedding ceremonies and/or receptions, formal corporate dining or social cocktail hours. Capacity: 180 for seated dinner, 160 for seated dinner with dance floor, 200 for seated ceremony, 250 for standing reception.

The Alice Bimel Courtyard has greenspace, sun, fountains and art

This outdoor space is a unique blend of classical and modern architecture; a beautiful setting for an outdoor cocktail hour or wedding ceremony. Tents are available for rental to protect guests from inclement weather. Capacity: 300

The Terrace Café features many tables and seating with large windows to the courtyard

Nestled between Joan Miró’s “Mural from the Terrace Plaza Hotel” and the elegant Alice Bimel Courtyard, this contemporary, open space is perfect for rehearsal dinners, cocktail receptions or business meetings. Capacity: 90 seated, 96 total including servers

The Mary R. Schiff Library has massive picture windows and a balcony overlooking the downtown skylinle*

Newly renovated with state of the art AV equipment, The Mary R. Schiff Library Reading Room includes a projector, sound system and floor-to-ceiling projector screen. The Reading Room also boasts exquisite views overlooking Eden Park and Downtown Cincinnati, perfect for meetings and cocktail hours. Two additional conference rooms are available within the Library for small corporate meetings. Capacity: 75 for standing cocktail reception, 30 for a seated dinner

The Art Climb is a series of stairs, landings, and tables with art and greenery

The Art Climb includes a staircase from the sidewalk near the intersection of Eden Park Drive and Gilbert Avenue and leading up to the front museum entrance.

Catering

The Cincinnati Art Museum is exclusively catered by our in-house Executive Chef who will work with you to create a custom menu with elegant and sumptuous fare. Whether it be a large wedding reception or formal corporate dinner, the Special Events team will fine-tune your event, creating an experience that is memorable and custom to your needs. We are able to accommodate a range of menu styles, taking into consideration food allergies and dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.). Menus are subject to change.

Art, Inc. Teambuilding

Do you need a fresh teambuilding event for your employees or volunteers? Our corporate teambuilding program, ART, Inc. fosters creative thinking and group problem solving through an artistic lens. In this custom-designed program, Cincinnati Art Museum educators will lead your staff through a lively interactive gallery experience at the museum. Professional Photography

Professional photography for portraits requires that advance arrangements (at least two weeks in advance) be made with our Special Events Staff by emailing [email protected]; in addition, there is a $250 per hour location fee for professional photography.
