Don’t blink and miss it, because BLINK is coming to town! BLINK is the nation’s largest free immersive art, light, and projection-mapping festival, transforming the urban cores of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Northern Kentucky into a vibrant nighttime outdoor gallery! Held every other year, BLINK is a celebration of art, community, and light that you won’t want to miss.
To prepare for BLINK, the Rosenthal Education Center (REC) is making glow-in-the-dark paper bag vests and crowns to light up the festival. Experiment with luminescent chalk markers, glowing stickers and tape, sparkly paper and other shiny materials to create your own work of art to show Cincinnati how art lights the way. Make bold patterns, playful shapes, and dazzling designs that are all your own. Then throw on your glowing masterpiece, strike a pose, and light up the night at BLINK.
From now until November 8, check out beacon:beckon by REC Artist-in-Residence Kenton Brett to see another way that Cincinnati artists light up the city!
